Multi-Engine Instructor Training

Step 1

The student will review the concepts and principles of multi-engine operations, systems, engine-out operations and the aerodynamics of multi-engine flight. The student will obtain the instructional knowledge to teach these subjects. The student will learn the analysis and performance of the maneuvers and procedures from the right seat of the multi-engine training airplane.

Stage 2

The student will review the principles and concepts of multi-engine performance, complex airplane systems, and environmental systems. The student will also obtain the instructional knowledge required to teach these subjects. The student will acquire the instructional knowledge of the elements of each of the required maneuvers and procedures. The student will be able to prepare a lesson plan for each flight and conduct the flight according to the planned lesson.
